You got *my* wheels turning about the Tegretol XR! I never tried Tegretol, just had a nasty response to the Trileptal. Who knows?

> Tegretol was an excellent drug for containing my anger outburst, and controlling the cycling. Much better than Trileptal. And I only needed a small amount to get a response (it's strong stuff!). FYI, I am finding as I lower my dose of Trileptal, I am feeling calmer, more tired and I am sleeping better! Could Trileptal be that activating? Tegretol was not activating at all after getting used to it. I slept like a baby every night.
Perhaps I can lower my dose of Trileptal without going into a rage due to the Neurontin (I am glad you only take a small amount and get some benefit too. I was afraid I had to be on thousands of milligrams, which I know I couldn't tolerate!). So far so good. I am just so sleepy during the day...I am sure I will adjust to lack of Trileptal. I just hope I dont' have to go up on my 1 and 1/2 mgs of Celexa. That seems like just enough for mood enhancement.
Now if the dumb dry skin would go away!!!
thanks for listening.
