> I have just begun taking Effexor XR for depression. I have taken 37mg. for 10 days, and I am soaked in sweat! This is terrible! Has anyone else experienced this? Does it get better? or go away? I think I may be beginning to feel better, but this wetness is bunk!

Girl,I was in the same boat! It lasted heavily for about 2 weeks, and is now beginning to get better. I am now at 75mg,steady,and it is working great, and the sweating is letting up slowly.
So give it some time. I know it sucks, believe me. I am a hot natured person who sweats in the winter to begin with,so the sweating was killing me. But now that it is easing up,I have easily forgotten it. It may be the same case with you. I'd say give it a couple more weeks. If it doesn't ease up,talk to your doctor.
Cheers,Stef
