Is this Effexor related?

I started a new bottle of Effexor and all of a sudden my head is so messed up. It's just like when I was trying to get off this stuff. When I move my eyes side to side, I hear it: swoosh, swoosh. What's the deal with this? Could I have gotten a bad prescription?
