Joey:

NMS seems low with the newer atypical antipsychotics, but really, with all meds, there is a chance of problems. Generally, though, there seems little to worry about. Best to do is, if you are concerned, talk to your doc. He/She can monitor you for any problems. What is important *now*, is that you get help getting your symptoms under control. If the Seroquel 50mg helps, then stick with it.

About the flu-like symptoms, they are widely reported with the SRI's (Prozac, Zoloft, etc), and I experienced the same thing with Zoloft, especially at higher doses. (Like 100mg)

If you find a lower dose, like 50mg of Zoloft, doesn't cause the flu-like symptoms, you could try that. *BUT*, you must consult your doc as always, as changing doses of meds can't be done quickly.

Good luck, and keep coming back for support.

Jay
