Hi.

When I started taking Lamictal back in March I enjoyed, after only a few wks on 25mg, somewhere in the region of a 30% improvement in BPII symptomology, of which S. Phobia is a significant part. It was this that probably demonstrated the most pronounced improvement. I became pretty confident at the time (tho' confidence isn't an issue), but was possibly bordering on slight hypomania (which, strangely enough, I could induce almost at will with the addtn of Klonopin. For myself at least, there exists a synergy btwn the two.). Unfortunately these benefits largely faded over the course of 6 wks or so, never to rtn (I still take it for mood-stabilization & for its slight cognitive benefits).

I've tried all the 'standard' treatments; Nardil, Clomipramine, Paxil, Klonopin, Neurontin etc but only Sulpiride (100mg) offers me consistent, if incomplete relief. Also helps with ruminations.

J.
