Sure, I take 50mgs. of 5htp in the morning and 100mgs. before I go to bed. It took about 3 weeks for it to really kick in. I now sleep 7-8 hours,where as before I started taking it, I was only sleeping between 3-4 hours. I only wake up maybe once now, where as before I would wake 6-7 times in that 3-4 hours! My anxiety has dropped tremendously since taking it. The depression seems to be lifting, but I'm thinking of upping my dose to see if I could get better results with the depression. For awhile, I was taking Sam-e with the 5htp and got better results, but I just cannot afford it. It is SO terribly expensive. I have noticed on the days I make myself eat a good breakfast, that I feel better and less moody! Oh, if you decide to try 5htp, make sure you take a good b-complex supplement.
