It never used to work this way, but lately, when I touch caffeine (either in tea, Coke, or coffee) I get an instant awakening from it. I feel REALLY good. Then, of course, I crash REALLY hard. It's starting to make me wonder if I might not benefit from Provigil along with this Luvox and Clonazepam I'm taking, provided I could avoid crashing. I tried the standard p-stims, i.e. dexedrine, ritalin, etc... and they pooped out quickly, and started to lead to crashing. They actually started to make me feel quite fatigued eventually.

I think the reason why I get this response currently from caffeine is because I have reduced my intake of it quite severely over the past year, to the point where I'll go weeks or more without touching it. I don't remember the last time I ever did that in my life. I think I lost my tolerance to it, so that now it has a profound, yet shortlasting effect.

Everybody's different, which in our cases, is somewhat unfortunate.
