Diagnosing seizure is more medical and reliable than diagnosing mental illness. Doctors actually have medical tests to dx seizures (EEG). If your doctor is telling you that you have a seizure disorder, Id take their advice and go with it. Dont fight it. BTW there is some relationship between seizures and mood disorders.
