Well... my doc gave me zaleplon to get me to sleep faster at night. I have trouble falling asleep, but once that's achieved, I sleep well. It's expensive though and not covered by my insurance. But apparently there's no dependence to it.
I'm staying at 75mg of Effexor XR a day at least another 3 weeks (been at that level for 1 month), until our next meeting. I am doing quite fine overall. Once the sleep issue is resolved, I'll be doing very well I think. There has been definite improvement in my dysthymia and anxiety since I started the Effexor XR. Not just my impression - she confirmed it, after drilling me with many many questions.
So not much new, but things going rather well. Actually, if I consider my life history, that in itself is new! Yippiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!
