Thanks for telling us about it. I get elevated heartrate from a lot of meds. Pstims and Wellbutrin were probably the worst. TCA's did too (nortriptyline being the least problematic), and then less so Effexor and then even Zoloft to some extent. I thought Provigil had less peripheral effects, you must be sensitive to them. Have you talked to your doctor that prescribed the Provigil? What does he think?

Mitch,
Well I was in the hospital that he practices IN and he never came to my room. (I am a new paitent) My Mdoc was the only one that came and saw me. I called the Pdoc this AM to let him know what had happened and he never called me back. (I am switching Dr's) My Mdoc told me to stop taking it and he thought ritalin or adderall would have the same effect. Confuses me too, but I am pretty new at this.
I took Zoloft for a year without any side effect..(except an extra 15 lbs, that I just lost) It did nothing for my ADD and minnimal for my anxiety, which has been under good control with klonopin 1.5 mg a day.
Can you think of any good questions to ask the new Pdoc I will be seeing next month? He specializes in adult ADHD and was highly reccomended.
Thanks!
