Your "Mdoc" probably is correct in assuming that Ritalin, et al, would cause similar problems. If you didn't have any cardiovascular changes with the Zoloft then you might be able to tolerate a little TCA. You might mention to your new pdoc a trial of nortriptyline. Desipramine would probably work better-but it is notorious for cardiovascular side-effects. You didn't say anything about Prozac. Prozac was probably the only SSRI that seemed to help my attentional probs. significantly by itself. Some folks find Effexor to work quite well for ADD symptoms.Mitch
