> I was once on Seroquel for insomnia. I still have problems sleeping even on the new medicine I'm taking, Zyprexa 5mg; I've only been taking it for about 3.5 - 4 weeks. Anyhow, if helped you in the past I don't see why you cannot start taking it again. I do recall that Seroquel was very sedating. Unfortunately, the drug made me twich a lot. My left leg would start moving on it's own - not good in my opinion. Speak with your doctor soon so you can begin to get back on on a normal sleeping schedule. Best wishes.
Its not smart to use atypical anti-psychotics for things like insomnia, anxiety if you are not psychotic. Your leg twitching on the Seroquel was either some EPS or restless legs most and is a bad sign. There are many, many, many other meds besides atypical anti-psychotics to use for insomnia.
