Hmm... Drugs that have affected my sleep (or, the ones I remember):

Nardil - didn't make me drowsy, but I could choose my sleep time -- 11:00 or 4:00, didn't matter. (I usually have a really hard time falling asleep before 3 or 4. Even if I take a sleeping pill, I'll end up on the same schedule the next day.) My average sleep length was between 7.5 and 9 hours. I usually woke feeling refreshed.

Xanax - helps me fall asleep (if I let it); sleep length: 9-12 hrs. No hangover.

Klonopin - not sedating for me; sleep length: 10.5-12+ hrs. Felt somewhat crappy upon waking.

Zyprexa - slightly sedating; sleep length: 10.5-12+ hrs. Felt much crappy upon waking.

Tofranil (imipramine) - not sedating for me; sleep length: 7.5-10.5 hrs. No hangover.

Hope this might help...
Chris
