Hi. I took Cylert for a few months (somewhere between 6 and 12) while I was in college. I thought it was pretty good. It helped with my mood as well as my ability to focus, and it lifted the fog (so to speak). It also helped me regulate my sleep -- it prevented me from napping during the day, then I would get tired as it was wearing off (right at the end of the day) and sleep all through the night. It didn't have the "roller-coaster" effect that sometimes goes along with short-acting drugs (such as Ritalin and Dexedrine). I could skip a day or not take it on the weekend and I was still okay. It was mild but effective and didn't have any side effects. And my liver was just fine (although at the time it didn't have the black box warning).
