I have experience with combining prozac and wellbutrin and unfortunately my experience was bad, but rare according to my pdoc. I was on prozac alone for quite a while and doing OK except for some lethargy and weight gain. My pdoc added wellbutrin SR 300 mg/day and we dropped the prozac to 10 mg/day. After a couple of months on this combination I suddenly started having very debilitating fatigue and lethargy (could barely get out of bed and sometimes slept entire days away), muscle and joint pain, irregular periods, etc. My doc had a hard time believing that the prozac had anything to do with it but these things went away when I discontinued it and stayed on the wellbutrin alone. Since then I've started seeing info in the literature about how wellbutrin can interact with the metabolism of a lot of other drugs making them concentrate in your system. I'm thinking that this is what happened to me. It turns out that prozac is also known to have a lot of drug-drug interactions so, personally, I think this is a bad combination. Some of the other SSRIs don't have the same problem with drug interactions.
