Are you taking it very regularly every day and every month?

I took Prozac for 9 years but went on and off of it a couple times each year. By about year 6 I started noticing anxiety, and that it didn't seem to be working anymore (I didn't know about the "poop-out" effect). When I determined that my anxiety was worse on the Prozac than off of it I gave it up. I do have to admit though it was the best AD I have taken... I found that Celexa created a similar feeling to Prozac, Zoloft pissed me off, and Paxil was a whole different animal.

If you are "pooping-out" on Prozac you might try something else, but if it is working ok...then maybe you should leave it alone.

Good luck!
Mom
