Mental illness is not tosh. Trying to get energy out of bottles or trying to think of an excuse not to work for a living is.
I am as crazy as the next man on this board and I have never pretended otherwise. Those who are genuinely ill, like I was until recently and probably will be again before I leave this world, have my sympathy and best wishes.
But I am starting to suspect that we have some hypochondriacs here, contributing tosh and fishing for sympathy.
I say we clear them off the board and concentrate on those who are genuinely ill.
Its 4.50PM here in the UK and I am at work worn out by my efforts. I took the kids to school this morning and I have driven 150 miles to visit a customer. All afternoon I have been working at my PC trying to get business. Soon I will have to go home and after dinner clear the kitchen up and help the kids with their homework. Then I will check this board again to see how many "Please be civils" I have got today, before falling into bed and trying to sleep. My small kids will wake me at least twice tonight with bad dreams or wanting a pee or a drink or something. Tomorrow it all starts over again.
But do I moan about it on this board? Do I search for bottles of energy? No I swallow the PROZAC and fish oil and get on with it.
To all those who are ill, Arthur is you friend. The rest should go and get a job.
