Hi, Mandy, welcome.

Other posters will have more info on the medications for BP and OCD than I do, but one thought I want to share is--have you had a thorough check of your thyroid functions? I thought of this because you said the symptoms started after your daughter was born, and there is something called postpartum thyroiditis, which can cause depression and anxiety, and mood swings if the thyroid hormones fluctuate a lot. I think the depression is most common. From the meds you take, it sounds like depression is more of an issue for you than manic symptoms, yes?

Anyway, I recommend reading some of the material on http://thyroid.about.com/ and in the thyroid and depression folder at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/psycho-babble-tips/links/Noa_s_thyroid_links_000963272558/ (there is also a link for this folder in the intro to Psycho-Babble at the top of this page).

The about.com site has a lot of good resources and information. It is also linked to the moderator's own site, www.thyroid-info.com. She also has a page where people recommend doctors for thyroid evaluation.

One page at the about.com site has the key thyroid functions tests:
http://thyroid.about.com/library/weekly/bltest-values.htm

My own story is that until my hypothyroidism was really treated properly, I did not respond fully to my antidepresant medications. My thyroid problem is not postpartum (no kids), but in reading up on hypothyroidism, I learned about the postpartum thing--apparently it is common in postpartum depression and often goes undiagnosed.

Good luck.
