I've actually stumbled onto that article/study before on socialfear.com. I even printed it out because it fits me perfectly. Ssri's haven't been effective at all. I tried showing my pdoc it and he dismissed it saying it was dated 1992. It kind of pissed me off. I'm currently trying to find another doctor in Ohio that's open to prescribing Maoi's(he wasn't). Anyways, about my OCD, I would say it's becoming more severe and I think atypical. From what OCD sites I've been to, truth-owning, perfectionism, and indecisiveness fit me. I tend to think everyone else's ways/beliefs are wrong. My Social Anxiety is pretty severe too, I've had it ever since I was little. SAD & OCD combined make me very avoidant of people. With SAD it's hard to talk to people... i'm always feeling uncomfortable and like I don't belong. Then with OCD... the truth-owning and perfectionism make it really hard for people to even want to talk with me. By the way, Does Nardil have sedative effects? I really don't want something that will make me sedated. Especially since I want to try to go to college. I don't need something that will make it harder to learn/concentrate. Paxil made me feel that way... almost a dumb feeling. Thanks.
