Ohh man..the anti-benzo attitude of doctors once again has likely caused some of your problem. If the Xanax was working great, they should have stuck with it.
OK...try to hold on as strong as you can, and get to either your or another pdoc to either restart Xanax, or go onto another longer acting benzo like clonazepam. And if for some reason you have to get off any benzo again, tell doc you want to do it slowly.
