I am almost positive that prozac does NOT inhibit mao-a or mao-b at least not to any significant degree. Rather, it inhibits the reuptake of seratonin. Deprenyl is good for parkinson's in low doses because it inhibits mao-b, thus, leading to less breakdown of dopamine. The inhibition of mao-a at higher doses is not part of its therapeutic effect for parkinsons.
If anything, prozac may be bad for parkinsons because it is hypothesized that it may down regulate certain dopamine receptors.
