I started off with a WB dose and an Effexor dose in the morning first thing and checked my BP/HR every fifteen minutes all during the morning and into the afternoon (while sitting in the same position at my kitchen table reading several newspapers)-but not past about 5pm or so. I noticed bumps in BP/HR after drinking coffee in the morning, and then after eating lunch (without caffeinated drinks). But there was a generalized elevation that did kickin after a couple of hours post-dosing of the two meds in the morning (with no food/caffeine). So, I don't know when the BP rise began to taper off into the evening. All my GP appts. have been in the morning as well. It could be it normalizes in the evening after the Effexor blood level starts to drop significantly. What have you found out?

I'd get an appt. with your GP and discuss this. If the Celexa doesn't work as well for you as the Effexor did, you may be able to go back on it-since evidently your BP was already elevated to begin with and it would *seem* that the Effexor didn't raise it significantly more than it already was.
