> Continuing down here, this place is busy! I was only taking 25 mgs. of Zoloft. I feel pretty cruddy without it (extra anxiety). I think I may add it back. Do you think losing 23 pounds in two in a half months would be considered "drastic" weight loss? I have been reading that "drastic" weight loss can cause hairloss. I am on Lamictal 100 per day and Remeron 30 per day (was at 45, caused 8 pounds of water retention I couldn't deal with). Although I must say, I DID like the higher dose Remeron, more energy, less sedation.
Uh, come to think of it-I had a lot of carbohydrate cravings with Zoloft. That has never happened with any of the other SSRI's. Hmmm. Could be that ditching the Zoloft is what caused the weight loss (you stopped munching as many carbs?). Twenty-three pounds of weight loss sounds GREAT! If I could lose that much weight and keep it off I would be right at my ideal lean weight. Maybe your hair loss will stop when your weight loss stops. You might want to reconsider adding back Zoloft, IMO. What do you think?
