> Actually I lost most of the weight before I quit the Zoloft. After ditching the Zoloft I lost 7 pounds. I tried everything to lose the med weight, only doing Atkins helped me lose the weight. Have you ever tried Atkins before? I have a call in to my regular doctor to see if he has a clue about the hairloss. Hopefully he will call me back! The reason I am thinking about adding the Zoloft back is for the anxiety. Seems to me that the hairloss must be diet or weight loss related. I never lost hair on these med before then. Can there be a delayed reaction to cause hairloss with these meds?

I'm stumped on that one (hair loss). I've been on a diet one time and it was the no fat Pritikin diet back in the early '80's after I gained about SIXTY pounds after I quit smoking. I lost it all back and actually started getting anorexic and needed to add some fat. Just an opinion, but I think just about any diet can cause weight loss because you start paying *attention* to what you are eating. I must say that I *feel* better eating a higher proportion of protein than I normally do. If you go back on Zoloft, maybe just 12.5mg/day would be enough?
