Be careful with Wellbutrin if you're having a negative reaction. I stayed on it longer than I should have because it was helping my SSRI induced apathy, and ended up seriously considering suicide. All from Wellbutrin induced agitation and hypomania that went away as soon as I stopped the drug.
I think in a lot of cases the side effects go away in a couple of weeks, so doctors get a bit too laid back about the possible consequences.
