Adinazolam does display a more robust antidepressant effect than does alprazolam (Xanax). I tried it in the mid 1980s. It was virtually devoid of side effects. Unfortunately, it did nothing for me. However, my doctor at the time was astounded to see so many of his patients respond to it. He had previously thought that it would be useless. It is too bad it is not available in the US. I doubt it will be.
