I have been reading about adinazolam and I am hopeful that it will become available in the USA. I have anxiety/panic attacks (with family history of same) and winter depression for which I take escitalopram. For anxiety, my primary care physician prescribes diazepam 5mg bid prn however I perceive both antidepressant and anxiolytic effects with alprazolam. I have read studies confirming the antidepressant effects associated with triazolobenzodiazepines. Along with excercise, avoidance of caffeine, and management of diet, I would be very receptive to therapy with adinazolam. Over the past 20 years, I have been treated too aggressively (in my opinion) for bipolar disorder (although I have not experienced a hypomanic episode in 15 years) with mood stabilizers, antipsychotics, hypnotics, and antidepressants simultaneously resulting in weight gain (160 normally up to 187 lbs) and feeling like a zombie, which affected my work performance (research and writing scientific papers), limited my ability to excercise, and decreased my overall quality of life without bringing significant relief of my symptoms. I could not maintain compliance (or afford it) while gulping a handful of pills every day. A single therapeutic agent like adinazolam would be a godsend.
