> Hi Wildflower:-) Nope~you're definately not alone, remember that always. May your days be more comforting:-)
> I take 10mg of Lexapro also. Sometimes when we're going through other things, like work and relationship-issues, the medication can only do so much. BUT, please give it a chance. I had good days and bad days, but at my 23rd day, I began to notice that I was indeed *dealing* with things better.......better able to sort out answers to my heartache, not feel suicidal, hopeless, etc.
> And so it will be for you I hope:-)
> My PCP doc was the one who started me on Lexapro also, but I believe it would be to benefit to you to find a psychiatrist who is more specifically trained with these sorts of medication/area/specialization.
> **In the meantime, by all means, call your doc who prescribed the Lexapro~after all he/she DID give it to you/put you on it. It's only fair he/she be there to answer questions when you need them answered;)
> Do you have a psychiatrist? Keep us posted, and if you need anything~just ask~we're a friendly, helpful bunch:-)((hugs)) to you. Thanks Gal! I really thought I was losing my mind yesterday and I suppose it's easier to blame the meds than admit an out of control life. I feel a little better today but I had a horrible time getting out of bed this morning. All I wanted to do was sleep the day away.
Nope, no psychiatrist. I had a psychologist a while ago but he didn't believe in meds and my family doc had me on effexor and then prozac. Needsless to say I stopped going. I'll try to find one soon but I'm so afraid of opening up to strangers (in person that is...)
