I had good days and bad days, but at my 23rd day, I began to notice that I was indeed *dealing* with things better.......better able to sort out answers to my heartache, not feel suicidal, hopeless, etc.

> Thanks Gal! I really thought I was losing my mind yesterday and I suppose it's easier to blame the meds than admit an out of control life. I feel a little better today but I had a horrible time getting out of bed this morning. All I wanted to do was sleep the day away.

> Nope, no psychiatrist. I had a psychologist a while ago but he didn't believe in meds and my family doc had me on effexor and then prozac. Needsless to say I stopped going. I'll try to find one soon but I'm so afraid of opening up to strangers (in person that is...)
>You are just now @ 4 weeks, this is about the time I got deep depression and anxiety and was convinced the med would NEVER work and I really wanted to quit SO BAD!!! but the great people on this board helped me through it. I was @ 5mg, and towards the end of wk5 I went to 10mg. That seemed to help a little. It was well into week 9 befor I realized that I was acually doing much better.
Please don't get discouraged, as it might get worse for you befor it gets better. Take it a day at a time, when you feel low come here for support, and keep us posted on how you are doing.
We are all pulling for you!~~~8|8
