Trileptal effects

I am on trileptal since early December for help with anxiety, some agitation, wound up feelings, possibly Bipolar 2. I am at 300mgs a day, still a pretty low dose. I am having really vividly bad dreams on the stuff, and so far little therapeutic effect. Also groggy in the morning from the med when I wake up. I also take Xanax 1.5mgs a day and Wellbutrin XL 150 mgs a day. Can anyone give me some personal feedback on trileptal. Good outcomes or similar side effects. Any info would be helpful. Thanks
