Unfortunately, i had the same experience with Trileptal. Unbelievably bad dreams that seemed to stay with me and color my mood. I also got a horrible taste in the back of my throat with it and no theraputic effect. Sorry, wish i could give you some positive feedback, but that is my experience with it. Good Luck, Melodie
