I've tried Wellbutrin at 300mg for a few months, Effexor at 300mg for 4 months, Paxil I got off b/c insomnia and my doc not wanting to throw some Ambien for a few weeks, so I'm curious about Paxil, Celexa for several months at 20mg, Seroquel for sleep, which makes sleep the lightest sleep ever, Abilify-- cute stuff, it makes you tired as heck for the first 3 days, then awake like crazy for the remaining time at 7.5mg, but I got athkasia so I stopped it after 2 weeks.
I guess I never tried Zoloft, and basically, never Paxil. Nor Straterra. I think I'd try Straterra first.
I have insomnia, narcolepsy, ADD, potentially delayed phase syndrome w/ my insomnia, borderline apnea I take a BiPAP machine at night for, social anxiety disorder I take Klonopin for, Desoxyn I take for ADD and narcolepsy, and Xyrem at bedtime. Thinking of Ambien for the insomnia, because it's safe to take with Xyrem.
But where are all the creative insights out there? You guys last year had some really cool insights, now I see a bunch of Lexapro posts and Effexor posts. I've tried Effexor and Celexa, and like any other antidepressant, I wouldn't have known I wasn't receiving a placebo....
Come on, where's that drug that makes me feel in control of my sleep time, my actions, my anxiety, my attention, my goals, my relationships, my alertness. I want it all, I want it in pill form. Desoxyn makes me less tired, but I feel like an anorexic when I even see food in front of me. Klonopin, it just lasts too long, I'm sick of it. Use it to take a nap, you'll be groggy for the rest of the day, Desoxyn or not.
Someone, suppose here, psychopharmacology tips, anything. Tell me something that helped you, that wasn't Nardil (I'm on Xyrem-- convincing my doc to prescribe a benzo will be tough!) maybe even an antipsychotic like Abilify that you augmented with a certain antidepressant along with Straterra or a stim, I mean where's the creativity here?"
I want to feel in control, not in line at a pharmacy counter for another lost cause at a new med.
