Sorry you had such a bad time. SSRIs work well alone for some people, but not all of us. I had a complete 'breakdown' on effexor and klonopin. Now I am on many meds and I feel better. Your pdoc should be able to help you. We all need different combos. Hope everything works out for you. terrics
