Although I didn't do too much ecstasy (because of neurotoxicity, and from what I'm starting to see it was a wise move), I know what feeling "burned out" is like. I doubt what you're feeling now is due to pot use, save maybe some of the depression and inability to feel pleasure.

He also told me that Alexander Shulgin, the psychopharmacologist/chemist who reintroduced MDMA to the country in the 70s, used it for writing EVERY WEEKEND and suffered no ill effects.

Vow not to use drugs again at least until you have your meds worked out, and even then I do not recommend anything except moderate alcohol and marijuana consumption. Leave the MDMA alone. I've had so many shrinks tell me horror stories about patients they've had who will probably have to be on a lifetime course of SSRIs to compensate for the damage induced by excessive X abuse.

haha. i want to step back into the limelight for sure. i didnt do that much exstacy relative to most ppl(20 pills spaced over 8 months i believe). But i cant even smoke pot ocassionally now because i always get tense, paranoid, and feel alot of pain...exactly all the opposite effects it used to have on me before when i enjoyed it.

I havent done e for over 3 years now and dont plan to touch any illegal substances in the future (except pot of course). what do you think? thanks for relating.
