I've had med-induced petit mal seizures ... basically, you don't feel it happening ... you don't feel like you're going to faint ... its just like one second you're ok, and then BAM! You suddenly "wake up" in the middle of doing something ... aware of what happened before the seizure ... but knowing that you're missing a part but you don't know how long. In my case it also made me drop whatever I was holding but I wouldn't fall.
I guess the best analogy would be if you take one of those old movies that are on a tape thigny, cut off a few frames and then tape the ends back up. You end up with like two parts that don't quite connect properly ...
Either that or sort of the feeling that someone is constantly pushing the "reset" button on your brain...
