I had i big depression in the last year and i try severals meds. The major problem appear when a try a combo of 150 mg effexor, 40mg celexa and 1 mg of risperdal. A very strange pain appear in my legs. It was like some electricals shocks in it, ants in my legs etc, vertigos, difficulty walking etc.. I appeared so suddently that i've been hospitalised because of huges amount of stress that this feeling cause me. My doctors thought that it was a form of psychosis, which i dont fully aggree(now , i take no anti psychotic or ssri and i'm not in psychose anymore...). The ants and electrics shock was so huge late in the day that i remember crying because of the pain. The only way to remove that feeling was to move my legs.I stop all medication for a moment. The pain, rigidity decrease alot but doesnt dissapeared completly. Effexor and Paxil together was the meds that give me the most discomfort. I suspect a Restless legs syndrome because of the similarity of my symptoms with this disease, my doctor think so. Today, i don't have anymore this "electric" feeling in my legs but i still have i very discomfort pain or rigidity in my legs. Now i even have difficulty walking.. pain , cramp and rigidity still there. I consider viewing a neurologist for that. I only 23 years old and i'm still very depressed , worried about those feelings. I can't work more than 15 to 20 hours a week beacause of fatigue. I'm on wellbutrin 150 mg sr and i didnt notice a significiant increase in my legs problems. Doctors passes me some neurologic tests but they find nothing. They think it's in my mind but if it was in my mind how could they explained the relation between symptoms and meds.Could it be a form of parkinson or something ?
Please help me with suggestions etc...
