hi there.....i had earlier asserted that klonopin was ``notorious'' for leveling-off at 6 months and for an increased dose after that. having read some more on the subject - and, equally if not more importantly - read the responses of those who have had very, very good success with a steady dosing of klonopin for years, i will have to say that my earlier assertion appears to be ungrounded. my *opinion* is that once you find the right dose for your comfort level - and this could take a little time, and there may be some tweaking of the dose if, for instance, life circumstances for you bring on extra anxiety or decreased anxiety (hoping for the latter) - you should be able to stay there without dose escalation for a good run of it.....hope this helps, and all the best, chemist
