Hi, I'm on effexor 112.5mg and wellbutrin 300mg (both the long acting ones - xl or xr or whatever initials they are). Have you checked your blood pressure? I would go to one of those machines in the pharmacy where you sit down and put your arm in the cuff. When I was up to 150mg effexor my BP went way too high, so we dropped it down and added the wellbutrin. I was agitated, restless, confused, had shaking hands, and excessive sweating. Sounds charming, doesn't it? Getting ready for work was the worst part of the day!

I found that the side effects of getting used to effexor were severe and they took me a long time to subside (12 weeks for me). It has been the most effective med for my depression yet, and the SE's are all but gone.

I'm also taking ambien to sleep, and xanax for anxiety and panic attacks.
