makes sense, now that I think back to my childhood days in the ER after taking a bottle of those things =)
10 mg Adderall? Didn't know they made doses that low. Desoxyn is generally taken two 5mg tablets at a time at least, and that's 2.5x more potent.
Um, have you tried 20mg? You may note a preference from one or the other, or you may be one of the, what is it, 3-5% of white caucasians who poorly metabolize amphetamines, and require higher doses? Anyway, the PDR goes up to 40mg as a reasonable dose, so I wouldn't exactly blame the drug when you're taking a dose I never (or my doc) bothered to trial before.
I always took 20mg 2x/day, after switching from 20mg of Ritalin 2x/day. I first started on Ritalin at 10mg a dose, I think. Now I take Desoxyn. Most people who I've heard take it claim it "doesn't work" but never bothered to take it at the average dose.
