Thanks so much for your post...I did ALOT of research today, and what I found was really shocking. I had no clue about Effexor and the difficult withdrawl that is involved..I do now, and I have already spread the word!
Yes, you're right in that I did follow my Dr.'s advice and weaned down gradually. Like I said, everything was fine until that last 37.5 mg. pill.That was 3 days ago, and wow, I've never felt anything this bizarre in my life. I guess that the Docs don't want to warn you about this stuff, because they probably feel that you'll start imagining side effects. However, I think this is really wrong...I just pray that this passes, as you said it should. I see my doc.on Wednesday for a follow up,so I'll definately make him aware, but I'm just going to stick it out..not going the Prozac route....By the way, the Dramamine did nothing for me..Bummer!
