I am wondering if a small dose of Zyprexa like 2.5 mg or even 5 mg would be low enough to avoid the weight gain that it so notorious for? I know everyone reacts to medications in different ways, but any input would be much appreciated.

From what I have seen, the weight gain on Zyprexa does not appear to be dosage dependant. You will probably gain (or not gain) the same amount of weight whether you are taking 2.5mg or 20mg. I think 5.0mg is ideal for non-psychotic situations.
