Anyhow, yes it really depends on both the individial and where the dopamine is going.

dopamine d1 agonistm *can* increase motivation
dopamine d2 agonistm *can* produce psychosis
dopamine d3 agonism *can* increase pleasue
d4 receptor is involved in novalty, though I am not sure weather agonism or antaganism would be responsable.
There is much more too, because it also depends on the location of the receptor. D2 receptor is involved in psychosis in the hippocamapas and lower brain stem, but is involved in movement in other areas of the brain. Much I don't understand but I know that taking a general uptake inhibitor like ritalin can produce mixed results.
