I'm so horrible at explaining myself. I'm actually very pleased with the Seroquel. I've had insomnia for YEARS, and it's gotten worse over the past 2-3 years with more and more racing thoughts. The Seroquel takes care of that and allows me to get a semi-normal sleep.

I was told that sometimes your brain can click back to a "normal" pattern when meds are introduced. Well, I've never really had a "normal" sleep pattern, but I thought, "Hmmmm.....maybe my brain is "normal" now!" Ha ha ha! Nope! It's still as messed up as ever.

So I'm more than happy to take the Seroquel for the rest of my life, if need be. I've never come close to being able to sleep as well as Seroquel allows, and I'm not about to give that up. I just wish it would KEEP me asleep. Oh well....just another demon to contend with.

I'm in my 40's and I haven't been able to get this reasonable amount of sleep that Seroquel affords me since I was a pre-teen!!!! The wonders of chemical living, huh?? Ha!
