Is this really bad ADD?

Posted by cybercafe on September 24, 2004, at 3:20:02

Okay I am sitting in my class (going back to school for pre-med) and can't do anything but feel really bored and put face down on desk and want to sleep. Try really hard and am able to rest my head on my arm with much effort. LOok and see everyone see awake, upright, attentive. There is no way I could even come close to that.

So I pop a ritalin SR 20 mg and within a few minutes I can actually concentrate and am awake. Makes anxiety a bit worse though :(

But my question really is.... when opening a book or going to a class makes you immediately feel compelled to fall asleep is that a SEVERE form of ADD or merely possessing it to a typical degree??

thanks all
