Hi:
I'm on Celexa for the second time, after a 13 month break. The first time I took 10mg per day, which was upped to 20 mg per day. It ceased to be effective after about 9 months (in fact it worsened depression).
Now, I'm on it again, this time at 10mg per day, and it is working well (2 1/2 months in).
My primary diagnosis is GAD, so I'm not sure if the dx is significant in success with 2nd time around meds. Dosage may be implicated too.
Good luck!
Jas
