I agree. Just because Prozac lowered hyperactivity doesn't mean that it is necessarily an effective ADD/ADHD treatment. What is going on? Is the extra serotonin transmission inducing a calming effect? If so, benzos should work in an analogous manner because they are also calming and would tend to reduce hyperactivity. However, benzos have no more efficacy for ADD/ADHD than do SSRIs. The reasoning in the study seems flawed, and perhaps biased.
