dazed, thanks so much for the info. I think my doc will be putting me on Zonergan soon, so I'm hopeful in reading about your experience. Yeah, I was so dopey [literally :)] on Topamax, I'm really curious/eager to try Zonergan.
Thanks again!

> I am currently on 400 mg Zonegran, and far less stupids, no tingling of extremities, weight loss is the same as on topomax. I've lost about 35 pounds in 6 months, 3 of those 4 of those months being on Zonegran.
> My hair is thinning very much (a side effect of both Topomax and Zonegran), but I would rather be bald than have 4-5 migraines a week. Some people use Biotin for their hair and it supposedly helps. My salon lady said use Powerplus Shampoo products and it rejuvenates the hair at the root.
> Drink lots of water on either med. Overall, Zonegran users have less side effects that Topomax users and they have usually started out on Topomax. Most side effect, i.e., excessive tiredness go away around 4-6 weeks, but my appetite is still far less than when I wasn't on anything.
