Hey Denise
You've been really helpful! Thanks for the information.
I'd like to know the name of the doctor you saw in London if thats okay.
Are you currently taking Nardil? How is it working out for you? Does it help with social anxiety, if you have any?I saw a Dr Soutzos at a Priory hospital in London last week.
To be honest I'm not sure what to make of him. He seems like a nice guy, and is fairly open minded compared to most UK docs, however he didn't seem to have much experience with social anxiety, and he also seems to be very biased towards new meds. He put me on Effexor XL which I'm not to happy about, as I don't think its very effective for social anxiety.
Maybe if I have more appointments with him he'll be willing to try different sorts of treatment.
Or maybe I should go to a completely different doctor.I currently live in Cambridge but will travel anywere in the country to get decent treatment (I once traveld from York to Bath and back in a day!)
