You should not have any problem finding a GP in the UK.
The problem you will face will be with the Pdocs.
Assuming your GP gives you an appointment you will probably have to wait at least a couple of months, don't expect to be overawed by their competence when you do see them either.
If I were you I would look into going privately, thats what I've done.
