I need input regarding poss medication change. To make a very long story very short: I am 17 months clean from methamphetamine, I have thyroid cancer, and epilepsy. I currently take Lamictal for seizures, Levothroid as I have had surgery for complete removal of thyroid, and Celexa for severe depression and GAD. I have gone off of my Celexa 3 times in the past 17 months and have ended up in a Psych ward everytime due to severe depression and suicidal thoughts/behaviors. I did MASSIVE damage to my brain by entering a meth related psychosis. Dopamine centers are shot in my brain. I have now lost my insurance and cannot afford Celexa. My husband takes Effexor and I am thinking of switching as it is available. Any thoughts or info would be appreciated.
